I'd like to take a moment to repeat how much I hate hand-coding HTML. I think it has taken me six hours to get this site to look the way it was before I upgraded to Movable Type 3.15. I was perfectly happy with version 2.66, but my website host sent out an e-mail that vaguely warned that customers without the most recent updates of their blogging software could have their accounts suspended. I guess this is because older versions of blogging software have security flaws, which subsequently inflict a heavy bandwidth burden on website hosts.
Anyway, I stupidly overwrote all of my old files when I installed the newer version of MT thereby losing all of my website templates. If I was actually putting my brain to use I would have saved my old templates so I could just copy and paste them in after I had upgraded. Instead, I had to reconstruct a lot of this website through a lot of trial and error in order to get it to look like it used to be.
My back aches and my eyes hurt, but I'm satisfied with the way the site is now. The dream blog will be down for a while because I don't want to go through another round of HTML-reconstruction just right now.
Whew.
I'm using Firefox and I show a broken link on the upper right.

Thanks Mike, it should be fixed now. I'm still working on getting a few kinks smoothed out.
