So the Oregonian has a story in today's paper about the same subject I reported on yesterday. Just a little bit too late, with nothing much that's new to offer. They also stuck the story deep in the Metro section, on page five. Apparently, according to my editor, they like to give a story that was scooped by another paper the appearance that it isn't as important as other local stories (though there are some fairly important articles on the front of Metro today). I was told that if they had gotten to the story first, it probably would have been on the front.
Today, my name was cursed in the newsroom of the Oregonian. Rock out.
awesome.
