Quite a day at the internship. I finished two stories today that will be out in Wednesday's issue (and I may even outscoop the Oregonian), and another couple of smaller ones that will probably go uncredited. The work is more fun when there's an immediate need to get stuff done, and it's a day like this that makes me want to find a job in this line of work.
It's also stories like this that make me reconsider my choice to go back to school to get a degree in education. Or at least make me reconsider applying for Teach for America.
