Oh man. I just made the mistake of watching the new video for Daft Punk's "Technologic" right before I was planning to go to bed. It features a singing scary robot-doll-thing, that's not unlike Chucky from "Child's Play," except with no skin.
Now I'm going to be haunted by funky French techno beats in my dreams.
I totally agree. That thing freaks me out.
I'm not sure how much I like the new album. It's much more like their first album, Homework. The sound is darker and pessimistic in contrast to the lively sound of Discovery.
I haven't listened to their new album yet, but after watching both of the videos they've released so far I'm probably going to get it when I get the chance.
Try watching that French flick they did the soundtrack for - Irreversible. Talk about nightmarish fever dreams. I was a complete wreck for days, and their music just added to the delerium.
Just hearing about a few of the scenes in the movie made me steer clear. Add scary Euro-house music to the mix, and I'll probably turn and walk (probably run) in the opposite direction.
I normally enjoy Daft Punk, but not when there's scary dolls or rape scenes involved.
I think that alien doll looks like something from a horror movie and it freaked my sister out !
haha yeh that doll is freakyyyyyy oh well I like the song enough, and im not really scared of adoll. lol i wouldnt mind havin one of my own.
That is definitely the actual animatronics they used for the Chucky films..I'de recognise it from anywhere.
