Another Monthly Update

Dang, has it been a month since I last updated?

Well, things that have occurred over the past month:

Started working at the package company mid-month. The first week was training. All the new hires had to watch videos on good health habits, proper lifting and the like. The second week was the tough one where we all started to unload or load packages. I was extremely sore the first few days, but now in my second week of unloading I've gotten much more used to it. I think I'll be working there till the end of December.

I've also been volunteering at my old elementary school. It's only two hours a day, but it's fun and I'm getting used to working with these kids. I also went to apply for volunteer work at the district office. When I talked to some people there, they suggested that instead of volunteering at the middle school or high school I should apply to become a substitute educational assistant. Well, I'm going to submit my application tomorrow and we'll see how that goes.

That's about it. Yep.

You're gonna be ripped by the time you finish that job.

But what happens if the kids start getting to you? "Sho angry… Sho… SMASH!!!"

I was working for the IT department, district computer tech. I'm not a big fan of the folks in my old dept, but I really miss the teachers and administrators. They are all very good people.
