Orphan Kitten
I came into possession of an orphan kitten on Tuesday. Unfortunately, I live in graduate student housing on the University of Arizona campus and pets are not allowed. I would love to find a good home for the kitten and a responsible and caring owner.
The kitten is approximately 5 to 6 weeks old and is of undetermined sex. I plan to take him/her to a vet soon, to find out if it's a he or a she and to make sure he/she is free of parasites and diseases. I will update this blog post when I get the results.
He/she is very playful and loves to explore my apartment. He/she loves attention and, when tired of playing, enjoys cuddling on my lap.
Please e-mail me at sho.ikeda@gmail.com if you are interested and live in the Tucson area (or Phoenix if you are willing to drive here to pick him/her up).

Oh, so cute I think I feel tear in my eye! I wish you could keep it!
I would totally trade you for a surly adult cat who enjoys meowing all night and all morning, pooping in inappropriate places, and rubbing her butt in your face while you sleep. I suspect you can't have her in your apartment, either, though.

Vague: I don't think that would be a fair trade. You'd have to throw in something like a DVD set of Veronica Mars in order to compensate for the raging, yowling beast that is Flannery.
Lauren: I know! I've considered it, but I really don't have the funds to support a kitten in case it needs surgery or has an emergency. Well, I could probably afford it but it's not the best time in my life to take care of such a young animal.
Fortunately, I have a friend that may take him/her in if no one extends an offer. :)
