The last two months have been relatively busy. I took the GRE and got a score that was pretty decent, though if I had put in more than my one week of serious study I probably would have done better. I think it's good enough to get me in one of my schools of choice, and I realized that my top choice (Pitt) doesn't require GRE scores (although I suppose that means they put a higher emphasis on other parts of one's application).
It took a little while to get all my letters of recommendation in order, but they should have all been sent off by now. I'll probably check to see if everything has been received by each school in a week or so, but I'm pretty confident that everything is accounted for. So now it's a waiting game.
To pass the time I'll be playing lots of Guitar Hero II. Woo, rock!

My current goal in life is to beat Sweet Child O' Mine on Expert. So far I can get just 3 stars on Hard. It'll take more practice, but I don't mind.
I think I'd like to beat Beast and the Harlot on Expert, and right now I can get four stars on Hard. I might check out this local GH2 competition they have at a bar downtown and see what it's like. I think it's going to be crazy.
