I got into Eugene yesterday to visit friends. Here are things I have done in Eugene so far:
Had a delicious carne asada wet burrito at Burrito Boy.
Saw The Life Acquatic. It was very good.
Drank some very tasty beers at the new Rogue brew pub, which used to be The Dive, which was previously West Brothers. When I closed my tab the bartender was going to charge me for two beers instead of the three I know I quaffed. I pointed this mistake to the bartender, but still charged me for only two beers. I made sure to tip well. That's good service.
Drank some more at the Horsehead. Listened in to a smattering of hipster gossip, which was interesting.
Crashed at my brother's apartment.
Today's schedule: Mostly do the same stuff.
Sorry I missed you man, my Sunday got a little busy with some nerdity and some other…erm…things. I'll be up again in June likely, I shall call! I swear!
